Harris Highlighted Trump Administration’s Attacks on Health Care, COVID-19 Failures
Arizona leaders praised Senator Kamala Harris for her powerful debate performance last night, during which she focused on talking to voters at home about what a Biden-Harris administration will mean for their lives and the issues most important to them.
“Last night Kamala Harris spoke directly to Arizonans who are worried about all that’s at stake in this election, who are suffering under the weight of this administration’s failed leadership — and who as of this morning, have just begun to vote. Our small business owners, immigrants, and working families heard the Biden-Harris campaign’s real solutions to their problems during this debate, and they’re going to remember that when they have their ballots in hand,” said State Senator Rebecca Rios.
“When Kamala Harris joined our ranks as a fellow Attorney General, my colleagues and I knew immediately that she was a force to be reckoned with — and last night the rest of the world got to see that for themselves. She presented a clear and compelling case for how she and Joe Biden will tackle the pandemic, build back our economy better, and get Arizonans’ lives back on track, and that’s exactly what those who are voting right now needed to hear. She will be an amazing vice president,” said former Arizona Attorney General Grant Woods.
The debate came as today Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will embark on their “Soul of the Nation” Bus Tour through Arizona, where they will meet with tribal leaders, small business owners, and voters in Phoenix and Tempe.
